Cut about 2 cups of cluster beans into 1" length pieces. Peel, wash and cut into cubes one big potato. Put both potato and cluster beans in a pressure cooker with very little water and cook to one whistle. Remove and let the steam drop by itself.
Heat about 1 tblsp oil in a kadai, add rai (sasam), when they splutter, add curry leaves, pinch of hing, 1 tblsp of sambar powder and stir well, add in the cooked potato and cluster beans, salt, lemon sized gur (goda), a little bit of water and mix well. Cover and cook till everything binds well. Garnish with fresh grated coconut.
