Clean & soak 1 cup of Kulith overnight. Next day wash well add 2 cups of water & pressure cook to about 5-6 whistles. Let remain for 2-3 hrs. This process thickens the saar in the cooker. Strain the saar. Add 1 kokum (Optional), Salt & bring to boil.
For tempering : Heat about 1 tblsp oil in a small kadai. Add 10-12 skinned garlic cloves, when they brown add about 2-3 chopped red chillies & add to the saar. Serve hot. This can be served as a drink too. Good for digestion & has lot of health benifits.
