Whole Black Urad+ Whole Green Moong+Rice Idly


Whole Black Urad+ Whole Green Moong+Rice Idly .... A healthier version.


Soak 1Cup whole black urad+1Cup whole green moong(both with skin) with 1tsp methi seeds for 2-3 hrs. Drain & wash well. Grind in wet grinder to smooth paste. Add 1-1/2 to 2 cups Idly Rava(soaked for 30mts). Mix well. Add 1tblsp salt, 3-4 grated green chillies, 2” piece of grated ginger & 1tsp crushed black pepper corns. Cover & let ferment for only 2Hrs. Steam Idly. Serve with sambar & chutney of your choice.
