White Kidney Bean with Bamboo Shoots and Hogplum Curry



White kidney bean (with keerlu and ambado)... hinga uddaka ghalnu randai. 

Grind one cup of coconut and 5-6 Red chillies to a fine paste. Add 1 cup Soaked (overnight) and pressure cooked Kidney beans with 8-10 pieces of Keerlu (Bamboo shoots)  and 2-3 Ambado (Hog plum) to 4 whistles. Slice the sides of the hog plum and add along with the seed while pressure cooking. Add the ground masala and salt, give a good boil and simmer for 5 minutes on low heat. 

For Seasoning : Heat 1 tblsp coconut oil (Option any oil can be added) in a small pan, when hot add 1 tblsp of hing powder. Remove and addd this to the curry. Human is ready. 

Note : If Ambado / Hog plum is not available add marble sized tamarind while grinding the masala.
