Carrot-Beans Upkari with Garam Masala.



Cut about 2 cups of beans into small pieces. Peel the skin of carrot and chop to pieces about 2 cups. Mix together and wash in a collander, allow to strain well.

Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadai, when hot add 1/2 tsp of rai, when they splutter add 1 red chilli cut to pieces, pinch of hing and about 8-10 curry leaves. Fry well and add the cut vegetables, salt and mix well, add 2-3 tblsp of water and let cook covered on low heat till almost done. Now add one tsp of garam masala and mix well. cover and cook till done. Goes well with Dal-Rice/Roti.
