MULTIGRAIN TIL LADOO (Oats + Wheat + Barley + Ragi + White Til + Black Til ) with lots of dry fruits ( Cashews + Almonds + Pista + Raisins )
Micro wave 1 cup of multigrain Oats ( Quaker’s which consists of oats+wheat+barley+ragi) for 3-4 mins. Keep aside. Micro Wave ½ cup of White Til ( sesame) + ½ cup Black Til (sesame) for 3-4 minutes.
Add it to the oats mixture. Now pound to a coarse powder ½ cup cashews, ½ cup almonds & ¼ cup pista add this to the mixture. Micro wave ½ cup raisins for 1-2 minutes it swells immediately.
Keep a check or else it will burn which will give a bitter taste. Add this also to the mixture along with ½ tsp of powdered Cardamom. Mix all these very well & keep aside.
Now Grate & Melt about 1 cup (approximately) of jaggery with 2-3 tblsp of ghee. Do not boil, when it melts remove from fire & mix in the ready mixture and mix well.
Shape into round ladoos when hot itself. Be careful grease your palms with ghee to bind them.
Note: If not using Microwave just fry each ingredient separately on kadai till light brown.
If the jaggery mixture holds a bit more of mixture you can add layi pitto to bind them well. I have used it as I fell short of the mixture.
