Healthy~Delicious Ginger- Pepper Lemonade.

"Healthy~Delicious Ginger- Pepper Lemonade" served at room temperature considering the present situation worldwide it is safer to stay away from chilled food ... ginger- pepper- lemon all three are supposed to be immunity booster and good to ward of germs and viruses ... Stay Safe- Spread Awareness and Stay away from outside food and unhygienic conditions ... Yummilicious .....

** I have often mentioned that apart from fruit juices lemon juice/ lemonade/ Nimboo Paani/ Limbiya Sherbat is the my most favorite of all juices, easy to make, good for health as it is loaded with Vitamin C. There are various combinations in which Lime Juice can be prepared with minute differences and I have already posted quite a few of them. Preparation of Lime juice needs no introduction as almost everybody around the world is sure to know and there is nothing that I can pen here. Each home has its own variation of preparing it and I love them except of course the commercially available ones.

** Lemon is full of Vitamin C and is an immunity booster. It is available all round the world and is all season, though it is abundantly available during winter season. So go for it on regular basis as it is not only easy prepare but affordable too. As I have already written about this wonderful fruit called lemon which is sort of a boon to mankind I will not repeat it all over again and move on to the recipe of this particular method. I am a common link below, wherein you can choose that which you would love to relish. Always remember that fresh homemade food, drinks, eatables are the best gift you can give to your family for a healthy lifestyle.

** Here is my simple method of preparing "Healthy~Delicious Ginger- Pepper Lemonade" …. My Style …

** Wash, wipe clean and crush one inch piece of ginger well in a clean mortar/ pestle and put it in a bowl with about 5-6 glass of water and keep it covered aside for 20-30 minutes for the ginger to get infused well in the water.

** In a mixer grinder add in about approximately one cup of sugar with ½ tsp of saffron threads, inner seeds of about 8-10 cardamom, 10-12 whole black pepper corns and grind to a fine powder. Do not add water, just powder it.

** Remove and add this to the water in the bowl with ginger and mix well until the sugar and rest of the ingredients have mixed well. Cover and keep it aside for another 20 minutes or so as the saffron will have to get infused in water too.

** To the above water now add in freshly squeezed juice of about 6-8 lemons depending upon the size of the lemon and its tartness. Do use your judgment. You can add 6 and then add on one by one as found necessary too without adding in one go.

** Now add in pinch of rock salt to the above mixture and a pinch of colour (Optional) if necessary only or if you have not added saffron. Mix all well and put this in the fridge for about an hour or two for it to get well chilled. Remove and strain through a fine stainless steel sieve.

** "Healthy~Delicious Ginger- Pepper Lemonade" is done and now ready to be served. Serve it chilled in tall glasses as and when needed. Just before serving, do taste the juice and adjust the taste accordingly. You may add in more water if required or sugar too if need be. I served this with some air fried purple yam as an accompaniment and it was simply awesome snack for a mid morning break.

** This is an excellent coolant to be served during summer or when the heat is not tolerable. Pepper is a spice but a coolant once it reaches into the body and helps in building up the immune system. Consume this juice freshly prepared and avoid storing it for over 6 hours as lemon looses it Vitamin level when stored.

** I am sharing a common link below for “lemon based juices”, you can browse through the same and give a try to various combinations on the same. It is always advisable to have freshly prepared juices and avoid the packaged ones that contain preservative though the claim otherwise. You really never know the hygienic conditions of packing nor the quality of the fruits as for the matter you do not know whether the date mentioned is also reliable.
