"Pejje Jevana : Surai Tandla Pejja (Surti Kollam Rice Porridge) topped with a tsp of Cow's Ghee/ Toop, Kadgi Chakko (Raw Jackfruit Dry Curry) Pappad Kismuri (Dry Salad), Veg. Kochla Nonche (Pickle)" ... when there are other works you need to attend to, you just keep the meals simple ... but then it has to be tummy filling too, Naive ??? (Isn’t it ?)... I always depend on pejje jevana during such times and wonder why some turn up their nose on hearing it ... for me it is simply soul satisfying meal and definitely a cure for tummy from all the heavy food had over days ... Yummilicious ...
