My Simple Veg. Thali~ 245.

“My Simple Veg. Thali~ 245 : Mitta ghallele Pachponos ani Khala-Amebeche Gojju (Brined Wild Jackfruit and Brined Raw Mango Chutney) with Garlic, Roasted Papad, SheetHa (Rice) and Cabbage- Potato (Batata/ Aloo)- Dill Leaves (Shepu) Upkari/Bhaji”… highlight of todays thali is gojju that is very aromatic with garlic flavor and satisfying to taste buds … love to have it with steaming hot rice/ red boiled rice/ pejja (rice porridge) … Yummilicious ….

** Some dishes are so satisfying that you can have a meal with only that single dish. In my home that one dish is Khallambe Gojju ie brined Raw Mango Chutney. I really do not need any other accompaniment along with this one. But then one needs to include veggies in daily diet, so I make it a point to prepare one bhaji/ upkari to serve along with the same. This gojju is prepared in combination of two brined items ie pachponos and raw mango and it tastes excellent. The recipe is a age old traditional one from Konkani Saraswat Cuisine enjoyed over generations and is known to almost all those who are foodies. Sharing links to the recipes of the items in the picture of thali above as is my usual preactice with Thali dishes.
