** A delicious thali that can be enjoyed by both vegetarians as well as non- vegetarians as the only non-veg. dish is fish fry which can be replaced by any other fritter/ bajo/ podi by vegetarians as rest of the dishes go well for both. Vali ie Malabar spinach is loved by almost every amchi and when I got married and came over to Mumbai I was really happy seeing the huge bunch in market, a sigh of relief went out of my lips seeing many town veggies. It is very difficult to adapt to eating habits formed over 2 decades and I was really worried if I had to make drastic changes, while small ones were not of that much significance. We still do not get many items that which are available in Mangalore, however since 90% is available its fine by me. Here is my thali prepared and posted a few months back that which I had completely forgotten to blog. And that which I came across today. Please follow the links given below for the recipe to the dishes in the thali, they are all very tasty and very easy to prepare.
