Wishing all "A Very Happy Ananta Chaturdashi" ...

** Ananta Chaturdashi is a festive that collides with two festive occasions. It is the 10 th day after Ganesha Chaturthi, that is the final day for all Ganesha Idols that have been installed for chaturthi to be immersed in water, a day to bid adieu to Lord Ganesha and it is also Lord Vishnu Day in Konkani which we call as nopi. I have already posted about this festival as an article under the particular label and you can give in a search in the Blog and go through the same if interested. Festivals are a joy if everything is fine but due to the pandemic condition worldwide there was no functions or get together permission for the same to he held nor could we invite or go to anybody home. Last 6 months have been a very tiring situation for all and somehow all we could do was stay at home, have faith and pray. But, the situation still continues and there is no absolute idea as to when will things get rectified. But then to keep ourselves in good mind and body control we go by through the days as we do on normally and try to include all functions as they are, but in our own homes. So, this Ganesha Chathurthi and Ananta Chaturthi were both held in our own home without any pomp or guests with just the two of us, but I tried including most of the dishes so that we could really feel in the festive mood. Sharing the links as is my usual pattern to the recipes of the dishes in the thali, do go through the same and prepare them in your home and enjoy with your family. It is never too late to wish festive greetings, so my best wishes to all of you on the festive season, Stay Blessed, Stay Safe and Spread Happiness.
