My Veggie Thali~ 221.

“My Veggie Thali~ 221 : Pagila Podi (Spine Gourd Fries), Moong Dal- Varai Khichidi (Green Gram Dal- Indian Barnyard Millet Pongal), Fryums (store bought), Kolumbo with Batato- Vaingana- Mashinga Sanga (Sambar with Potato- Brinjal- Drumstick), Dahi (Curds)” … simple lunch that can be had for upwas/ fasting … trying out different combos of khichidi to go light a few days before it is festive season again … Yummilicious ….

** Once again this is a upwas/ fasting day one meal a day thali. Prepared khichidi with varai/ Indian barnyard millet which is permissible during fasting and served it along with sambar and curds. Adding in a few spine gourd fries to make the lunch more appealing as khichidi is always a bland sort of meal otherwise.
