Yummilicious ...
** Fish meals on Sunday’s is always a treat as not only is the lunchtime late as there is loads of week round extra pending work to be finished but at the same time things can be done in leisure without having to rush to office. I was all geared and ready to prepare kane/ lady fish today as it had been over a year since we managed to get it. Also thought of buying sardines to fry them but unfortunately neither was available with my fish seller so had to buy whatever was available.
** Pomfret/ pamplet/ manji is something I buy rarely as it is a slightly sweeter in taste fish and hubby does not like it very much, but then he does not fuss as he knows I like it, well that’s it bought my regular king fish/ surmai/ visonu to fry and bought the manji to prepare alle’ piyava gashi which is a traditional Konkani saraswat dish loved very much by almost everyone. Here is my delicious fish thali for today, definitely a tummy filling and delicious soul satisfying meal for fish lovers of all age.

** For “Gajjar (Carrot) Salad”, I just grated those beautiful brick red color carrots available now after peeling off the outer skin with potato scrapper. I just added on a few green chilly cut into pieces, salt to taste and a dash of lemon freshly squeezed, that it, simple as my hubby loves it this way, try it if you have not, does not take much time and is healthier too.
