** Once again a simple Saturday meal of Jyeshta Masa/ Month today which I am trying to follow. As Ashada month is approaching fast say in another 2 weeks, I am preparing myself by going on lighter food before the month commence, so that it becomes easier later. This year somehow nothing seems to be going good for the whole world, we are reeling under the pandemic pressure of Covid 19, added to it some of the disasters the country faced with cyclones. The mind is restless with fear hanging thin on air and food is something definitely a distant thought, but then to keep immunity fighting strongly one has to eat good food with healthy nutrients and keep getting motivated and motivate others to do so too. Try this healthy chutney included in the meal prepared with pumpkin/ bhopla which is very nutritious and good for health. Definitely one of the best ways to see that children consume this veggie without fussing about. I will be sharing many more such healthy options of food as and when possible, so stay tuned to my Blog and yes, if there is any particular recipe from Konkani Sarawat which I have not yet blogged and you would love to know of, you can send me a mail and If I know will definitely do so and if not too, I will try to find out the same and blog it. Do try out various options and enjoy a good meal during this time of crisis, there is nothing much we can do except see to it that we keep our family in good shape, giving good food, seeing to it that they exercise well and do keep up with good hygiene habits, do not forget wearing mask and washing hands often.
