"My Simple Combo Meal : Chane Dali- Piyavu- Cabbage Upkari (Bengal Gram Dal- Onion- Cabbage Bhaji/ Stir Fry), Ambuli Gojju/ Bajji (Raw Mango Bharta), Ambuli Nonche (Raw Mango Pickle), SheetHa (Rice)" ... Raw Mangoes are dropping like small bombs in my compound to pacify me as veggies are still not in sight ... that is what it means when they say ... भगवान जभी देता है, छप्पड़ पहाड़ के देता है ... luckily there is still some cabbage sharing some of my agony with me ... so today's meal is centered round these two ... nevertheless they did turn out~ Yummilicious ...
** This was my combo meal/ lunch a few days back, which I could not post as the editing of the accompaniment dishes had yet to be done. Go ahead and try out this simple yet delicious combo meal and enjoy with your family. Things have not returned to normalcy, in fact the whole world is still reeling under anxiety and pressure. Economy is slowly dwindling and it is becoming slightly difficult to run homes with savings getting emptied. God alone knows how long will this last and how many will survive, really a scary thing to happen, something no one ever thought of too and if it is at all man made then I am sure God will see to it that they never surface and bounce back to do so again with human lives. All we can do is pray God to save us from this monster called Covid 19. Added to the problems is the rising turbulence elsewhere on other issues. Also earthquakes and cyclones are on the move to making it that much more difficult for people to survive. In all of my 55 yrs this is the first time I am witnessing such a calamity wherein the whole world is helpless and is just coping blindly on daily basis at whatever is thrown mercilessly at them. The lock down is also believed to be opening up slowly to avoid economy disaster. But, then if lives are lost, then what good does economy do, I wonder. Again, how long can things be shut down too, the dilemma just keep continuing without any solutions. No vaccine has yet been come across in findings too. So please Stay Safe and do take necessary precautions if you need to go out. Also do make it a point from now on daily to eat healthy home cooked food steaming hot for staying fit, this is going to be a long battle and we need to stay healthy and increase our immunity levels by being strong and fit.
