"Today's Lunch : Gosale- Sukkale Sungata Ambata (Ridge Gourd- Dried Prawns Curry), Ripe Mango Slice, Ukde SheetHa (Red Boiled Rice), Batate Podi (Potato Fries), Surna KacHra / Podi (Yam Fries)" ... tried preparing ambat with addition of dal to gosale and dried prawns today and it really tastes fantabulous ... had a small piece of surnu, so prepared cubed fries and some batate podi along with it ... now that's the last mango I have, hoping to try for some more if possible, let's see, keeping my fingers crossed ... Yummilicious .....
** Once again a simple “Solo Meal” lunch with just one spicy curry and boiled rice. Some curries are best enjoyed as it is without much of accompaniments or the taste gets lost and trust me dried fish dishes are one such dishes best relished single as it is. This one curry served with rice is enough to satisfy that hunger for hours together. I always make it a point many a times to serve such curries simply as solo meal with rice and my platter is done with, maybe a roasted papad and I am really done.
