Pejje Jevan : Rice Porridge, Lady's Finger Bhaji, Raw Mango Pickle.


"Pejje Jevan : Surai Tandla Peja with Toopa (Rice Porridge topped with homemade ghee), Roasted Papad (store bought), Bhenda Upakri (Lady's Finger Bhaji), Ambuli Nonche (Raw Mango Pickle)" ... wanted to have a light meal today after last few days heavy food ... steaming hot pejje jevan is something we love to have to keep the tummy good, specially so when its raaaiiinnninggg ... Yummilicious .. 

** Had a simple meal of rice porridge along with bhaji and pickle with an roasted papad added on to keep my tummy light. I have been often having this meal of late as either I do not get veggies or I am simply over worked and tired to cook or just not in mood to cook if I hear some depressing news. Everybody seems to be under heavy pressure and slowly it starts rubbing on each one of us when you hear the same news all the time. For over a month now I have stopped watching new channel and just plug in 3-4 times a day just for the headlines and know the current news. It is really depressing to watch through the calamities and problems people are facing. It makes you feel so helpless when you can help but yet you cannot sort of a stuck up situation. Well, let us all hope and pray for the best outcome from this calamity. May God keep us all safe and sound and bring about some solution for covid 19. Do take good care of yourself, stay safe, do not go out unnecessarily and remember to wear a mask and wash hands frequently.
