Batate Hinga Randai (Potato Curry), Onion Bajias, Red Boiled Rice.

"Combo Meals : Batate Hinga Uddaka ani Narlele Tela ghalnu randai/ Hummana (Potato Curry topped with Asafoetida and Coconut Oil), Piyava Bajo/Bajia (Onion Fritters), Ukde SheetHa (Red Boiled Rice)" ... it's simple lunch today with my fav dishes ... Yummilicious ...

** Here is a simple combo meal I often prepare on normal days at home. In my home both hubby and me love potato curry very much and hummana with any veggie or non-veg is also our favorite dish. We love to relish it with red boiled rice, though it goes equally well with normal surti kollam rice too or can be served with ghee rice or mildly spice pulav or jeera rice too. Onion bajia or bajo is another favorite not only in my home but I assume universally by all Indian living in any part of the world. This is one deep fried snack one is sure to have grown up relishing often and I prepare it often to serve as side dish for lunch as it makes the lunch that much more appealing. Sharing links to the dishes in the meal/thali as is the usual pattern with combo meals, do try out this simple combo and have a delicious satisfying meal with family and friends.
