My Vegetarian Amchi Thali~ 233.


"My Vegetarian Amchi Thali~ 233 : Nendrabale Kele Podi (Banana Fry), Batato- Piyava Upkari (Potato- Onion Stir Fry/Bhaji), Mooga Patarado (Green Moong Steamed Colocasia Rolls), Tomato Saaru (Saar), SheetHa (Rice)" ... never thought would end up with a thali meal today ... had some patrado and saar, so prepared rice and upkari and went about doing my pending never ending cleaning job ... but when hubby brought some nendrabale kele, I could not resist preparing my favorite podies ... sometime luck does play sportingly too ... Yummilicious ... 

** Delicious amchi vegetarian thali with all dishes from Konkani Saraswat Cuisine for lunch.  Sometimes without forethought's you end up with a fantastic meal that goes beyond imagination and that's called God's grace. A lot of pending work keeps me busy throughout the day and at times I really feel too tired to even cook a full meal. This pandemic has left us all helpless, yes we have learned to be self reliant but then day in day out every single work has to be managed by just hubby and me and though I get complete support and his help in each and every work there is always piles of work yet to be done both at home and in office. Thought of taking a break and attending to house cleaning today, as there was patrado that was left over (thank God), decided on simple tomato saar and onion- potato bhaji for lunch as these can be prepared in jiffy. But when hubby who had gone out on some office work found some nendrabale bananas, knowing very well that I love it very much came home with the same and after that I just had to do the podi's my favorite and ended up with a fantastic lunch in all. Sharing links to all the recipes of the the dishes in the thali above as is my usual pattern straight away.
