“My Simple Veg. Thali~ 228 : SheetHa (Rice), Mooga Patrade Podi (Green Gram- Colocasia Leaves Rolls Tava Fried Slices), Tarni Mirsange-Limbiya Nonche (Green Chilli- Lemon Pickle), Alvamande Peja Upakari (Arvi ka Patla Bhaji/ Colocasia Roots Curry)” … when there is patrade podi for lunch I usually keep rest of the dishes simple as the fries in themselves are very satisfying … combined with alvamande peja upkari they taste scrumptious … Yummilicious …
** I had loads of work both at home and in office and luckily I had prepared patrado previous day which meant I would have one dish as back up. The best part of patrado when prepared is, as we are only the two of us it always remains and many times I either tava fry it or prepare upkari out of it the next day. So today I prepared a simple lunch as when you have crisp fried podi to relish somehow other dishes simply do not count. Again, we love alvamande hummana ie Arvi with masala gravy dish, but then prepared this simple peja upkari, which is easy to prepare and I was also in a hurry and had to rush as I was already running late. So simple meal awaited us when we came back finishing our official work from outside town. Sometimes simple meals are very satisfying too, just add on a small serving of pickle and you are done. Sharing links to all the recipes of the dishes in the thali above as is my usual practice with thali meals, do click on that which you would love to try out, they are all tasty.
