** When bamboo shoots/ Keerlu and ambado/ hogplum are in season I always prepare any curry with addition of pulses to relish them fresh unlike the brined ones which is usually prepared. The taste differs slightly though even brine ones are equally good. Anyways this was for lunch that which we enjoyed steaming hot while it was pouring heavily outside. The rains through out the week have been playing havoc and it is really enjoyable to relish hot home cooked food and then take a nap for 20 minutes or so before we begin with our work again. Do try out various combos of meals and enjoy with your family.
