Chilled/ Fresh Orange Juice.


Chilled/ Fresh Orange Juice ... Orange is a lemon sold for a penny ...... well not for a penny ........... but now they are available in plenty ........ Also they were soooo sweet ....... that I have not added any sugar ...... So Go ahead and Enjoy A glass full of ....... "Chilled Fresh Orange Juice" ...... they are guilt free ..

Oranges are juicy and sweet. They are well known for the concentration of vitamin C. Oranges make the perfect snack and add a special tang to many recipes; They are the most popular fruit in the world. Everybody, young and old love oranges. They are diuretic too with good content of fiber if eaten whole as it is instead of juice, which is highly recommended by dietitians. Oranges are generally available from winter through summer with seasonal variations depending on the variety. Oranges boost your immune system and are also good for your skin. Orange juice is also packed with nutrients, they also aid with heart health, cholesterol levels and other health issues


I have posted Orange Juice before, but then I had used mixer to grind them to pulp and sieved the juice. Here I have used my electric citrus juicer to remove the juice of oranges. There is a difference between both the juices. The taste varies a bit. However, you can proceed with whichever method suits you best.

** Just cut into halves 6-8 oranges and extract juice from them with the help of a citrus juicer.  I use electric one, which has served me for a good 20 yrs now, you may use any. Pour in a vessel, add a cup of water if necessary, sometimes I do not. You may keep it in the refrigerator to cool a little bit and serve chilled or just add in a few ice cubes and serve the same. You will get about 3-4 glasses of juice if the oranges are larger in size. The oranges were very sweet and tangy. I did not add any sugar, you may add as per your taste if you wish to drink a bit sweeter orange juice. Just, Sip it and reap in the health benefits 


** I do not have them chilled any more for health reasons, but neither have I added water nor sugar to this juice as they were huge in size and sweet by nature. It is always best to consume fresh citrus juices during winter as it has loads of Vit.C It is adviceable to have them as soon as possible once the juice has been extracted and not stored for hours to be used on later. The benefits get's lost if done so, that is the sole purpose one should never have the ones available in tetra packs in market, which they claim fresh, THEY ARE NOT ... Instead by a good electric juicer and do it yourself, its worth it and you will never regret the same.
