Hot Puffed Poories With Sweet And Spicy White Chana Upkari and Ginger Tea .........
This is another combination of poori with sweet and spicy chana upkari. Two types of whole chana’s are available. Black and White. Both are good in taste. The only difference between the two are the white one’s and softer, cook faster and remain soft long time after cooking while Black take much more time in cooking and hardens a bit after some time. Both have their own unique taste and it is individual preference in choice of chana. Both white and black chana can be prepared in similar manner. Chana upkari is usually served with pova chutney in almost every GSB / Konkani household.
