My Veg. Thali ~ 213 : Sharing Naivedyam from Shree Ganeshotsav Celebrations, GSB Seva Mandal, Kings Circle, Mumbai with heartfelt gratitude "Godu Appo, Ganahoma Panchkadayi, Pitti Panchkadayi) ... along with My Thali dishes ... Dudde Palle Podi (Pumpkin Leaves Fritters), Valvala (Mixed Veg. Curry in Coconut Milk), Vaingana- Mashinga Sange Upkari (Brinjal- Drumstick Bhaji), Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal), SheetHa (Rice)" ... today is 5th-last day/ Visarjan day of Ganpathi Bappa of our community ... this year could not attend the same but was immensely pleased on receiving bappas Naivedyam ... Ganapthi Bappa Morya ... 

** Once again simple dishes but Valval usually rules the thali as it is loved by all amchies specially so during festive season. Again, I will not run into details and share the recipe links to the dishes in thali as is my usual pattern. I am also sharing Naivedyam from GSB Seva Mandal which I received today, it includes Ganahoma panchkadayi, powder panchkadayi and appo all three important naivedyams during this festive season.

We Konkani Saraswats avoid onion-garlic non-veg on fasting days or on auspicious and festive days, so there are two versions of the same, you can follow whichever suits you the best and enjoy with the peja ….
