** Once again a delicious thali meal with dishes from our Konkani Saraswat Cuisine. It had almost been 3 weeks since I had prepared a proper thali meal and I myself was missing it and I hope all of you did too. It is always a pleasant sight to look at a complete meal and when it is loaded with your favorite dishes it is that much more appealing to eyes. Eyes are the most important part in the body of human beings. It is through eyes that we look at things and perceive most of the other things that follow. Our Konkani Cuisine satisfies the requirement of a healthy balanced meal along with tongue ticklers too. Though the curries are coconut based they are always light on stomach and a side dish of upkari ie a simple stir fry of veggies always almost accompaniments the meal, making it that much more healthier. So do keep in touch with our roots regarding food habits too and see to it that your coming generations to follow the pattern in their life. You can browse through the almost 2000+ entries in my Blog in your own leisure and get a grasp on our cuisine if you are new to Konkani Saraswat dishes. Once again, I am following my same method as that of Thali postings and sharing only links to recipes so that you can choose to go through the same if you would love to try them.
