** Spiced Khichidi is a most sought after dish in India and each region has their own recipe and they all taste wonderful. Traditional Khichidi also known as Pongal is prepared with rice and moong dal, however, I love experimenting, trying out new methods with addition of millet / dals/ rice/ veggies/ spices etc. is something I love, and most of my trials have turned out successful. Here I have combined Varai with Moong Dal which serves the purpose for my Upwas “NO Onion- Garlic- Rice Meals”.
