“My Non. Veg. Thali~ 316: Motte Polo (Egg Omelette), Alsande Upkari (Yardlong Beans Bhaji/ Stir fry), Vatano Alvamande Hinga Randai/ Hummana (Green Peas Colocasia Roots/ Arvi Asafoetida flavored Curry), Ukde SheetHa (Red/ Kerala Matta Boiled Rice)” … had a few eggs that were accidentally broken when brought home, so had them as omelette for lunch … Yummilicious ….
** Some days just happen to give pleasant or should I say tasty surprises and today is one such day. Though I have a wonderful egg crate prepared by hubby that holds the eggs intact without breaking them I am not sure what happened today as when we reached home I found that a few eggs had cracked up, not sure if they were sold that way. So carefully broke them and checked if they were ok and then thought of preparing omelette for lunch as I did not like the idea of storing them back in a box in fridge for tomorrow.
** As I had already prepared my lunch as it’s always ready by 10 am. which was boiled rice, curry as shown above and a bhaji as I wanted to go on lighter meals after festive days, but I guess fate had other plans. All said, we loved our lunch with omelette as a side dish too, though I rarely prepare it for lunch as they are always reserved for breakfast. Do try out this combo or at least add a egg omelette to your meals once in a way if you love eggs, they taste wonderful and complement the meal well, def. a tummy satisfaction.
