** Idly- Sambar is one of the most sought after combination for most south Indians and we Konkanir Saraswats/ GSB always relish them preparing the Idly in different combinations for breakfast. The craze for this dish has never diminished with the passage of time and young and old like it eqully well. Though many youngsters are hesitant to relish them demanding for dishes like pizza, samosa, etc. it has now diminished with health awareness being the topmost priority in every persons home. The pandemic has made people realize the importance of good traditional hom
e cooked food that was passed on to us from generations and thank God for that otherwise our younger generation would have suffered health issues in the coming decade looking at the speed at which they were aping the western countries and falling for those fast food and packaged food high in preservative and salt.
