** Over a few years now I am challenged as to what dishes to be prepared that are tasty and nutritious but keeping in frame with No Onion- Garlic- Rice requirement. Recently, I have also started mentioning the same on the title or on picture so as to make it easier for those who would like to follow the pattern on such days. As one ages it is the desire to cut down on food as it becomes difficult to digest as when were the younger days. Also for spiritual reasons you follow a pattern and then need to keep in mind both clubbed together.
** I have been doing so for a few years now, but then never thought of adding it in this manner and when my friend suggested to go ahead, I thought why not, after all my aim has always been to spread knowledge of amchi cooking which we would like to enjoy in our homes. Above all the sole interest is to help out those youngsters who want to know more about our culture, tradition, simple food, combo meals, solo meals, other variety of dishes, etc. more dishes and combo meals to come up soon, till then enjoy this one.

** “Aapus Ambo (Alphonso Mango)” is a particular variety of mango that is very famous in Mumbai and which is sworn by for its awesome taste and color. It is called the king of mangoes and is very sweet and dark orange in color. The best ones are from Ratnagiri a district from Maharashtra state, though elsewhere towns too they are grown in abundance. Maharashtra is the place these are cultivated by large and sold, however now it is available almost all round the world when they are in season, that is from the month of March to May end though at exorbitant prices, but then that's OK as they are worth it.Enjoy.
