** Once again posting My simple Veg. Thali for all my friends here. Likewise, I will not run into any details here on any individual dishes as by now all of you are aware that they are all shared as individual posts. This is just a combination pattern for you to follow if at all you are confused as to what you want to prepare if you have friends or relatives over for lunch / dinner. Today’s is a delicious Amchi, GSB Konkani Saraswat traditional dishes in the Thali. However, Matki ~ Onion (Sprouted Moth Bean/ Small Bagdo) Sanna Idly, is something different and my very own concoction / recipe that I just tried out yesterday. As you all know I love experimenting and this one is simply A+ according to me. So do not hesitate to try that dish out as it is rich in protein and is very good for both growing up children as well as elders. 2. “Sprouted Matki ~ Onion (Moth Bean/ Small Bagdo) Sanna Idly” … Sprouts are high in protein, good for health and must be included in some form in our diet … So, I am trying out different ways of including them by preparing my own concoctions … Today I tried out preparing sanna Idly / khotto and it turned out soft and delicious … Yummy

3. “Sheera ~ The Golden Yellow Dessert Loved by all” … A most common sweet dish prepared as Naivedyam / Prasadam on auspicious days or just as a dessert when you want to celebrate … also when you just crave to eat something sweet, simple and that which can be prepared fast … Yumz

4. “Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal)" …. A delicious Konkani Saraswat Dal that tastes well with rice. A must during every meal in our community, we simply love our dal with rice.

5. “Cooking Rice Starch Free / Vanu ghalnu SheetHa” … Rice cooked and the water is drained off to remove excess starch. The rice remains well cooked without sticking to each other … Do try this formula / method of cooking as it is very healthy.

6. “Donnemirsange Bajo / Capsicum Bajia” … A delicious deep fried snack relished both as side dish at meals or as a snack … Specially during monsoon … Yumz.
