My Simple Veg. Thali~ 376.


“My Simple Veg. Thali~ 376 : Poori, KhatHa MeetHa TeekHa Tendle- Bikkanda Gojju (Ivy Gourd- Jackfruit Seed Curry), Moogadali Usli (Green Gram Dal Bhaji), Kokum Taak (Chaas/ Buttermilk)” … Ekadashi meals are always “NO Onion- Garlic- Rice” one meal of the day … Greetings to all, stay blessed, spread happiness …

** Prepared a simple “NO Onion- Garlic- Rice or Non. Veg Meal” for lunch as in my home we observe a semi fast on Ekadashi. I guess most Hindu’s in our country follow this pattern, while some fast without cooked food by sticking to fruits, so keep it simple with one meal a day that includes satvik dishes. In GSB Konkani Sarasawat community most of us follow the later patter for fasting on Ekadashi/ auspicious days as is our belief. I have no knowledge on these subjects, so will not like to mention anything except that it gives me an opportunity to go light on meals on 2 days in a month as Ekadashi comes once in fortnight. This was my meal today and we loved it.
