Thali 13.


Thali 13..... Amchi Thali : Bikkandache Chettambado (Jackfruit Seed Vada), Ambuli Nonche (Raw Mango Pickle), Dalitoy (Spiced Dal), Sheeta (Rice), Happolu (Red Chilly Pappad), Taushe (Cucumber slices), Vaigana Bajji (Green Brinjal Bharta) With Bimbul .... Seasoned With Onions And Garlic And Taka (Buttermilk) ..........


This Thali is a lovely combination of typical Amchi GSB / Saraswat Konkani dishes.


The dishes compliment each other very well and are a delight to be tasted each on its own or as a combination during lunch / dinner time. 


The lunch is not very heavy neither light and quite filling on tummy. Do try this combo which is very easy to assemble / prepare.

Buttermilk is prepared by adding ½ a cup of water to ½ cup of fatless curds and churning well. Add salt and hing water / powder as seasoning before serving.
