Today is Ganesha Visarjan Day (10th day, immersion of Idol) and Anant Chaturdashi also known as Nopi ... Anant is another name of Lord Vishnu which means eternal and Chaturdashi means fourteen (14th), today is a pious day for all Hindus .. Stay Blessed~Spread Happiness ....

** My sincere apologies for this delayed post, but it is never too late to wish friends loads of good wishes, health and prosperity. I hope all of you had a lovely festive time. This was the Naivedyam prepared by me on Anant Chaturdashi day, that is the 10 day which is Visarjan Day for Lord Ganesha and Nopi too, a festival where is Lord Vishnu is worshiped. All dishes in the pictures have been already posted and many of you might have gone through it too. This is just my Naivedyam offering platter which I always love to share with all my friends here. I believe it has helped many in assembling dishes both on festive and normal days. So frankly this is a query related post to help them out and enjoy with their near and dear ones relishing yummy dishes. However, I always insist that you make your own mix and match combo dishes during festival times keeping in mind your family preferences as each of you definitely have your own awesome dishes that are loved by them. A little bit of change is always welcome in every home from the routine dishes.  So while keeping the traditional dishes in mind, give them some twist and enhance their taste and appearance by addition of different flavors as I have done her with the patholi, which will be appealing to one and all. I love making different flavors of this delicious dish and always feel that God also gets pleased having them for a change from routine ones, otherwise he would never have put these lovely ideas in my mind, Isn’t that so? Always place the credit at the lotus feet of my family deity Goddess Mahalasa Narayani, my Ishta Devata (Fav. God) Lord Ganesha and Lord Siya-Rama.
