“My Scrumptious Fish Thali No~ 435 : Tallele Visonu/ Surmai (King Fish Fry), Sungata- Bikkanda- Ambuli Hinga Randai Narlel Tela Ghalnu/ Hummana (Prawn- Jackfruit Seeds- Raw Mango Asafoetida Flavored with Coconut Oil Curry), Bhenda Upkari (Lady’s Finger Bhaji/ Stir Fry), Ukde SheetHa (Red Boiled Kerala Matta Rice)” … a simple- tasty and heartwarming tummy filling fish meal that is a welcome sight in my home … veggies plz. do excuse … Yummilicious …

** I have previously mentioned that recently we have been enjoying Fish meals more often unlike olden days and its all thanks to things more accessible these days. Well, they are costly unlike when purchased directly from wholesale vendors, however with age these are small compromises one needs to do as work pressure and load both has to be cut down. Plenty of rest, sleep and good- nutritious- home cooked meals are my mantra for a peaceful advancing old age and trust me you will love it.

** For a change tried our normal sungata hinga randai/ hummana (prawn curry) with a twist by adding jackfruit seeds and raw mango and it was a lovely variation, I have already shared the recipe elsewhere and will be sharing link to the same here, do try it if all ingredients are available, sure to be loved. Surmai (Visonu/ King fish) fries are always a favorite in my home and I never miss buying them when fresh catches are available. Just switched over to tava fry instead of deep frying for healthier version.

** A veggie, is a must these days with every meal as a healthier option and I am sure everybody agrees on this one. Including Bhenda Upkari, simple lady’s finger stir-fry, is a good choice as this veggie is more alkaline by nature making it that much more better on balancing acidic levels in the body.
