“My Simple Combo Meal Veg. Thali No~ 426 : Bajjili Happolu (Roased Spicy Pappad), Besan Kadhi (Gram Flour- Curd Curry), Ambuli Nonche (Raw Mango Pickle), Spiced Green Gram Sprouts- Rice Khichidi (Kirlailele Moong- Tandla Khichidi)” … sometimes either due to weather, health or busy schedule, we all desire to take a break from our workload, keep meals simple and take plenty of rest ... here is a heartwarming meal of “Khichidi- Kadhi” that fits the bill by letting go off all the chaos and exhaustion … try it, it gives sukoon to mind & body … Yummilicious …

** When you have had hectic days filled with workload and the weather too lets you down on health front then all the heart desires for is a day off from all the chaos. A simple meal of khichidi- kadhi comes to rescue followed by a nap of an hour to recuperate the lost strength. Sharing my simple thali of delicious thali that includes khichidi with khadi along with roasted papad and pickle, a scrumptious meal that is hubby's favorite, Oh! Yes, he can have it almost every day, so no issues on that front.

** For “Bajjili Happolu (Roased Spicy Pappad)” … I have used store bought red chilly papad and just roasted them over open flame and served it immediately. You can apply a thin film of coconut oil above the papads after roasting if desired as it tastes awesome when done so, however, that’s individual choice.
