My Simple Veg. Thali No~ 422.

“My Simple Veg. Thali No~ 422 : Kele Kachri (Banana Chips), Taikilo- Piyava Sannapolo (Cassia Taro Leaves- Onion Spicy Dosa), Tendle Talasani (Ivy Gourd Bhaji), Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal), SheetHa (Rice)” … well not a simple meal as it includes all my favorite dishes … while papad is the most preferred to be served during meals, I have always loved relishing kele kachri with dal- chawal from childhood especially when they are freshly made … Yummilicious …

** It’s "Diwali~ the festival of lights" in 2 days and I am sure all Indians round the world must be busy with preparations to welcome the auspicious days. My today’s thali is simple as I have loads of work to attend to just like all of you. A few days back I chanced upon taikilo/ taro leaves the season of which usually ends up around mid September, on the outskirts of Thane and bought some to prepare sannapolo. As for banana wafers it’s always a joy to savor them during meals with dal- chawal and tendle talasani is our favourite veggie at home, so today’s thali for me rocks. Sharing links to recipes of dishes on my thali picture above as is my usual practice with thali posts. Do try them out and enjoy with your family and friends, after all good home cooked food is the necessity of the day.

Have a Blessed Diwali with your Family and Friends.
