** Preparing a complete Dal- Chawal Thali for lunchtimes after a long time, the satisfaction of enjoying a GSB Konkani Saraswat meal something I grew up relishing is just beyond words. For the past few months I have been longing to have a complete thali meal with our own amchigele dishes especially dalitoy with rice and sannakhotto but somehow was just not up to preparing it. With the extended period of rains and then winter setting in late my spinal issues had just shot up making it difficult to prepare anything more than a few dishes at a time. Well, I strongly believe God grants wishes when the desire rises up a lot and here I am with my most favorite post of all times.
** And for those who sent in query as to why I had stopped sharing thali meals, well, I have seriously been thinking of going a simple food spree for sometime, to recover from health issues. Again, there are already around 400 posts covering almost a year’s requirement and I guess that choices too have become limited, but sure to give it a thought. Sharing another thali with our favorite items from our own Sarawat Cuisine.
