Behind the knocked Door.

"Behind the knocked Door"
kab, kahan, kaise Kismat paltegi, yeh koi nahin janta ...

** Knock knock can I come in??? "NO- go away" ... Ouch, that is where we could go wrong ... opportunity knocks but once on our door and there is always someone/ something waiting for us on the other side ... make effort to get up and open the door even if all hopes are lost ... showing back or shooing away may lead to sending away some divine power that has come to aid, just like in this story ...

** A man who worked months in town to earn for his family, returned back and was aghast to look at destruction caused by a fire breakout ... everything was charred, his family was gone, he could see bones lying littered inside his home ... devastated he searched in vain for months before finally giving up assured that the remains were of his family ... he  started living alone keeping all away and plunged himself into darkness ...

** Meanwhile his son all of 7 years had survived the tragic event ... a family passing over the village a few days after the incident had seen him helpless, all alone near the ruins wailing in plea ... after looking around and not finding his parents, they took him along with them and looked after him till he was 18 yrs old, a major boy ... the boy knew about his childhood and always wanted to return in search of his father, finally his foster parents let him go ...

** Everything had changed in village over years, yet the boy managed to find way to his home ... not sure what awaited him he slowly went near, saw the door ajar but could not be sure about the person who sat with his back to it ... he knocked but there was no reply, he repeatedly knocked so that the person would turn round but the response was nil ... finally he yelled "father open the door" ...

** This infuriated the man inside who screamed back in a shrill voice "go away, I have no son, no one, you idiot, don't make fun of an ailing man" ... the young boy had never heard his father scream, now after years, he could not recognize that voice ... he just felt sorry for the lone man he muttered "I am sorry Sir, I did not mean to hurt, mistook you for my father" and walked away with a heavy heart ...

** The old man had once again lost everything ... if only he had made that small effort to get up, have faith, a little bit of hope and opened the door the boy would have recognized his fathers face ... the same goes on for the son too, had he understood the situation and barged in to face the man, he would have come face to face with his father ... tragedy hits almost everybody at some time in life but faith and hope is something that helps in crossing the ocean of sorrows ...

** We must hold on, just a wee bit longer, the pain lingers, but hope will keep us afloat till that day when there is a knock on door ... Krishna in Bhagvad Gita the song of life says ... "I have a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggle and a reward for your faithfulness/ truthfulness, trust me and don’t give up" ...

** Difficult, but not impossible ... we need to have faith that Shri Krishna is with us in every hardship we face, we just need to trust Him and get up to upon that door when there is a knock ... dookh ki 2 boondh aansu aapnehi detey hey lekin khushi ki aansu hamesha Bhagawanhi detha hey … Behind the Knock on that door, kab, kahan, kaise Kismat paltegi, yeh koi nahin janta ...
