Chicken and Egg Hot Dog.

 

Chicken and Egg Hot Dog ..


Slit the Hot Dog bread across the whole length on one side of it and keep it ready.


Heat a pan with 1 tblsp of oil in it. Beak two eggs into this directly, take care to see that you do not put in the shell pieces. Sprinkle a bit of salt and coarsely crushed black pepper powder. Wait for 2 minutes and then start stirring the egg to evenly scramble it. They will ready in 4-5 minutes. Remove from kadai and keep it in a plate.


In the same kadai, heat 1 tblsp of oil, add in 100 gams of bite 1 inch cubed boneless chicken pieces and stir fry well. Add in 2-3 tblsp of coriander – mint – green chilly paste, add ½ tsp of ginger garlic paste and mix well. Add 4 tsp of garam masala. ¼ tsp of dhania-jeera powder and mix well. Add ½ cup water and cook till done. See that the masala coats the pieces evenly and all the water has evaporated. The chicken masala should be very dry. Now add in the prepared scrambled eggs to this and mix well. Remove and let cool a bit.


Now apply tomato ketchup on the inside side (both sides) of the hot dog. Sandwhich the prepared chicken and egg masala in between layers of cheese all through the length of the bread. Cover tightly by pressing it evenly with gentle pressure.


Place the hot dog in a micro wave safe plate with the slit side facing upwards and heat for 1 minute. Serve hot wrapped in a tissue paper. If using oven preheat oven to 150 deg. C and then grill on both sides at 350 deg. C for 5 minutes or till done. Do not overheat, the cheese will first melt off, then start hardening.
