Diwali/Deepavali 2023

Wishing all A Very Happy And Prosperous Diwali ...

It's "The Festival of Lights" ... that brightens the skies, streets, homes, peoples life marking the beginning of hope, faith, peace, love, health, wealth and happiness in each one of us ... Diwali/ Deepavali is celebrated for many beliefs … it commemorates the victorious return of Prabhu Sri Rama back to his kingdom Ayodhya with his wife Mata Sita and loyal brother Lakshman after 14 yrs of exile and defeating of 10 headed demon king Ravana for his evil deeds…

It also signifies "victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance" after Sri Krishna’s victory over Narakasura an asura king who was killed on Chaturdashi day by Krishna known as Naraka Chaturdashi ...

Goddess Lakshmi is believed to have emerged from the ocean along with Kuber, the God of Wealth, on the day of Dhanteras– when Diwali starts, that's the day when the Devas and Asuras (God’s and Demons) churned it to acquire amrita, the elixir of immortality, the great churning that is called the Samudra Manthan along …

Sri Ganesha is the most righteous God and Goddess Lakshmi had always acknowledged his wisdom and knowledge, hence she had declared that all her luxury, prosperity, accomplishments would be attained only when both of them were worshiped together known as “Aadi Ganesh”, thereby making Sri Ganesha the giver of wealth, prosperity and salvation … there is a deep thought to be understood here, that wealth without the wisdom to use it properly, leads only to destruction, the very reason why both Sri Lakshmi the goddess of wealth and Sri Ganesha the God of wisdom are worshiped together as the material gains of success can be achieved only when both go hand in hand together …

** So this Diwali, let us all light earthen oil diyas and adorn our homes with colorful rangoli with the firm belief of good triumphing over evil, of light over darkness …

Safalta Hamesh Humare Desh Ke Saat Rahe …

Happy Diwali, Stay Blessed, Stay Safe, Spread Happiness …

//Jai SiyaRaam//
