“My Delicious Veg. Thali~ 354 : Piyava Bajo (Onion Fries), Mixed Veggie Sukke (Curry), Bhenda Upkari (Lady’s Finger Bhaji/ Stir Fry), Kottambari Palle Saaru (Coriander Leaves Spicy Saar), Ukde SheetHa (Red Boiled Rice)” … bajia’s/ fritters taste best during monsoon and so does steaming hot saaru served with rice … sharing my scrumptious thali meal from my kitchen to yours … go ahead, try out the dishes and enjoy with family and friends … Yummilicious …

** A combo of lovely items all from GSB Konkani Saraswat Cuisine assembled together to make a lovely scrumptious thali for meals. Sukke is a side dish of semi thick consistency served during meals and is prepared all round the year with seasonal veggies as is available. Here for this sukke I have included season veggie ie pagila (spine gourd) along with potato (batato) and alsando (yard long beans). I am sharing common link to all sukke recipes below, you may chose any as is the veggie available in your vicinity as they all taste great or just go ahead and make your own combination.

** Again, you may add any bajia/ bajo/ fritter to be served as is your choice. I prepared piyava bajo last minute as I find it very easy to prepare. As for kottambari palle saaru (coriander leaves saar) you should try it if you have not yet done so, one of the aromatic and tasties saaru having a unique taste of its own and goes well served with rice. In all definitely a delicious home cooked meal that is not only healthy for your family but also very easy to prepare. Try it out on weekends or when you have guest coming over or when you have time and all family members can enjoy the same.
