Naivedyam: My Festive Thali No~ 35.

“Naivedyam: My Festive Thali No~ 35" … "Ananta Chaturdashi" greetings to all my friends ... with Sri. Ganesha- Sri. Hari- Hari Guru’s Blessings; I was able to make this humble offering of Naivedyam at the lotus feet of  my home deities on the auspicious occasion of Ananta Chaturdashi Festival … may we all be blessed with their choicest blessing ... Stay Blessed~ Spread Happiness ... Jai Guru Ganesh- OM Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya- OM Gurubyo Namaha ....

** This is Naivedyam prepared by me on the auspicious occasion of "Anant Chaturdashi" day, that is the 10th day of Sri. Ganesha Chaturthi (Bhadrapada Masa, Shukla paksha). It's Visarjan day meaning the last day for all Sri. Ganesh Idols observed marking 10 day festival to be immersed in Sea/ Lakes. Ananta Chaturdashi is observed as Nopi in GSB Konkani Saraswat Community were in Sri. Hari (Vishnu) is worshiped in Temples in great pomp. I have written a small article to which I will share a link at the bottom of this post, please browse through in leisure and do give me a feedback.

** There many delicious dishes shared in my blog, do browse through and try them out. If you are new to GSB Konkani Saraswat Cuisine, then you should savour them as they are tasty- healthy with plenty of choices. I am sharing links to the recipes in the thali above as is my usual practice with thali or festival posts as they are already shared elsewhere. Do give it a try on festive/ normal days and enjoy with family and friends. May Shri Ganesha shower on all of us his choicest blessings and keep the world safe from further agony. My list of items in the Naivedyam thali above includes following dishes ...

** Before you wonder if I prepare so many dishes each time, then my honest answer is "NO- I do not". So many dishes are usually prepared either in homes where Ganapati Bappa Idol is installed for the number of days they do so down the years or at temples or in Mandal's where in too they are celebrated with great pomp. It was my desire to make an offering of 21 dishes to Sri. Ganesh at least once during the 10 days of Sri. Ganesha Chaturthi Celebrations and here it is, my wish fulfilled by Sri. Hari too after almost 27 yrs of my married life, its truly a blessed feeling and all I can say is Thank You ...
