Chilled Kesari Ellachi Nimboo Paani With Spicy Microwaved Bhendi Kurkuri And Corn Capsicum Satvik Pulav .... Enjoy ...
Come festival days and the pressure mounts up as to what dish can be prepared that the family will enjoy. Care has to be taken to see to it that both taste and variety is maintained while garlic, onions are avoided. We Indians do not eat non vegetarian dishes on festival or auspicious days. But I always like to do different types of dishes to even out the routine recipes done during such days. Here is a simple capsicum and corn satvik pulav that can be enjoyed on such days. A very simple and delicious pulav that can be served with dal or raita. This dish can be prepared on normal days too with some spicy curries as accompaniments which does taste better also. To remove the little bit of bland taste of the satvik pulav, I served this with some Spicy Bhendi (Lady Finger) Kurkuri (Crispies ) which I microwaved and some Kesari Ellachi Nimboo Paani ie Saffron and Cardamom flavoured Lime Juice.
I have posted all the three dishes separately in the Blog. So here I will just add on their links. Please do follow the links for the recipes.
