Rava Nachani Idly, Pickle, Gajjar ka Halwa and Vegetable Sambar.


"Combo Meals: Rava- Nachani Curds Idly, Vegetable Kochla Nonche (Pickle), Gajjar (carrot) ka Halwa, Vegetable Sambar" ... today being Vaikunta/ Mokshada Ekadashi and Gita Jayanti its one meal only of No Onion- Garlic- Rice dishes ... gave a slight variation and prepared rava idly with addition of some ragi flour and served it with green peas- chow chow- carrot sambar and for Naivedyam it was gajja halwa ... Yummilicious ... 

** Once again a combo meal on fasting day that has no onion- garlic- rice dishes. Prepared Rava Idly for my one meal of the day but this time I also added on some nachani/ finger millet/ ragi flour which is nutritious filled with calcium and is supposed to be very good for bones. Served it with sambar which I prepared adding in lots of veggies and for Naivedyam I had prepared gajjar ka halwa which is the flavor of the season now. Added on some veggi pickle to tickle tastes buds and in all it was a lovely meal. Do try it out if you like nachani like we do.
