My Scrumptious Non.Veg Fish Thali No. 390.

“My Scrumptious Non.Veg Fish Thali No. 390 : Ripe Nendrabale Kele Bajo (Ripe Banana Fritters), Noglekane Gashi (Kane/ lady Fish medium spiced onion seasoned curry), French Beans Upkari (Bhaji/ Stir fry), Mitta ghallele Avale Saaru (Brine Indian Gooseberry Saar), Ukde SheetHa (Red Boiled Rice)” … fish meals are always a delight to relish and preparing kane gashi after a long time … addition of bajos made it that much more tastier … Vegetarians do excuse … Yummilicious …

** Though I frequently prepare fish curry these days it has been really a long time since I prepared noglekane gashi (kane/ lady fish curry) somehow I could not get them with my fish vendor. Somehow these days I find it very tiring to work be it in office or at home, I guess its just age that’s catching on as all my tests have come out with good results, some on a little bit of border, nevertheless nothing to worry about.

** These days it’s the era of online purchase and though I am reluctant to purchasing anything without giving a scrutiny, slowly upon hubby’s insistance I obliged and decided to try online purchase of fish and decided to try kane/ lady fish. Fortunately, it was delivered in good condiion and fair enough on rates too. Well, that’s it prepared my favourite gashi curry and enjoyed a hearty meal with boiled rice.

** Also prepared this delicious mitta ghallele Avale Saaru (Brine Amla/ Nellikayi/ Indian Gooseberry Saar) to be served with rice. Here I must mention that though we used to love relishing fish curries with rice, I sometimes prepare dal, saar etc. to cut down on spicy gravy consumption as with age both hubby and me find it difficult to digest. Again, avalo is good for health especially during winter season.

** Bajo/ Bajia was prepared on a last minute hunch as hubby came home purchasing lots of nendrabale kele and a few were ripe and I could not resist preparing them immediately to be served for meals. I know I should resist deep fries but then I always fall for temptation, off course I have limited the numbers. Lol funny isn’t it how we convince ourselves that a lit bit is ok when it comes to food, that’s life, I guess.

** Well, here is my fish thali, for fish lovers while others can go ahead and try them in your home by just skipping the fish curry. I have already posted recipes to dishes on thali as a separate post before, so sharing links for easy access.
