Faith overcomes Fear.

"Faith overcomes Fear" ... faith builds confidence while fear is like a monster that creeps into mind, creates a turmoil, triggers a strong physical reaction based on past experiences ... if you keep sowing seeds of fear and loneliness into your mind they will keep growing larger day by day till you are no longer able to control them ... weed them off forever before they begin to sprout ...

** Here is a story of a cow that overcame its fear coz. it had faith in God and its Master ... once a cow accidentally went into jungle for grazing and met with the ill fate of coming across a tiger ... the tigers pleasure knew no bounds on finding a prey and began chasing the cow in expectation of a hearty meal ...

** in desperation the cow runs for its life but finds no place to hide or anybody to seek help from ... seeing a shallow pond with no second thoughts the cow just jumps in offering a silent prayer to God for rescue ... the tiger on pursuit blindly follows and jumps in too with dangerous thoughts of only eanting to kill the cow ....

** They both find themselves trapped in a distance of 2 feet between each other sunk in recesses of mud making it difficult for moving about ... the over confident tiger believing in its power keeps roaring to scare the cow and desperately tries to reach the cow still wanting to kill it, despite itself being in trouble ...

** The cow is scared and looks around for ways to escape too ... finally tired both quietly stand in guard looking at each other as the time ticks by ... soon its sunset and this brings confidence to cow and slowly it retains its cool, removes fear from mind ...

** After all the tiger was at a distance and could not reach it while soon his master would come in search of him for not having returned home ... as expected his master comes in search of the cow, understands the situation and rescues the cow by pulling it out ...

** Though they would have loved to help the tiger, knowing its wild nature they fear that it will kill them both if done so, so they return home safely while the tiger remains stuck in the pond all alone ... the depth of the story when observed teaches a lot ...

** The cow represents a surrendered heart that has full faith in it's master and almighty ... the tiger represents an egoistic mind that which just leads to destruction ... the master can be taken to represent Guru, the savior who leads us on spiritual path of enlightenment ... again we can say the mud here maybe represents the world, that which is full of struggles and the chase represents the fighting spirit for survival and existence for all therein ...

** In a jest, where there is fear there the devil dwells and where there is faith God lives ...
OM Gurubyo Namaha
OM Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

** Disclaimer : Just a short article written by me on my thoughts again on a lighter note on reading the story of the tiger and cow that I came across in net. Not meant to offend anybody's sentiments, do excuse if done. The picture belongs to Google and I downloaded the same, so the credit goes to them. Thank you for reading through and always supporting my small writing and articles.
