My Veg. Thali~160.

"My Veg. Thali~160 : Sanna Khotto Cabbage ani Piyavu ghalnu (Spicy Idly with Cabbage and onion), Harve Kele Upkari (Raw Banana Bhaji), Cheppi Kheeri haldi paan ghalnu (Kheer in Coconut Milk with Turmeric Leaves), Alsande' Beeyeche Saar Upkari Losun Panna (Black Eyed Peas Patla Bhaji with Garlic Seasoning), SheetHa (Rice)" ... had a hearty simple meal ... Yummilicious ...

** Here is simple thali that we relished with great satisfaction after Diwali. Diwali is enjoyed allmost by everybody by relishing the goodies and savories that is shared by every friendly neighbor and friends. You just cannot say no to anybody who serves you with respect and love, so you end up eating more than called for. One does enjoy them as diwali is supposed to be a time when all hatred and envy are supposed to be burned off as a good gesture and goodwill. It is only after those 5 days of celebration that you realize you have overeaten the goodies and the very thought of finishing some that are still in stock is simply No-No to most of us.

** Non-Vegetarian miss a lot on the spicy dishes and crave to have them once the festival is over. Though I would have loved to share a Non-Veg. platter I could not prepare them now, but will soon do so for sure. As for today here is my simple veggie platter, that is sure to be one hearty meal for vegetarians.
