My Thali 95.


"My Thali ... Cabbage Raita (Salad), Vatana-Batate Upkari (Green Peas-Potato Bhaji), Kadgi Podi (Raw Jackfruit Fries), Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal), SheetHa (Rice) .... A delicious-yummy meal ... Enjoy ......

** Once again another simple Veg. Thali from my kitchen that is sure to be loved by all of those who want to relish a healthier pattern of dishes. I have been getting a few requests for healthier options in Thali, as many a times a thali sometimes somehow gets loaded with calories when too many dishes are added on. Some may even wonder how come the fries served in the thali can be healthy. Well, if you keep on eating more than 2-3 fries it sure is going to be heavier but a little bit is always welcome in my home, after all the food should be tempting for both eyes and tongue. Also the rest of the dishes in the thali are kept simple and that which have minimum calories to compensate for the fries. So unless you are asked to avoid oil food completely for health reasons or whatever, you can enjoy this one with your family and friends. I am sure the raw jackfruit fries that can be prepared only when in season will be loved by one and all.
