My Thali 83.


"My Amchi Thali 83. ... Coconut~Mawa Burfi (Nariyal~Khova Burfi), Alvamande Songa (Spicy Arvi /Colocasia Roots Curry), Tendle Talasani (Gherkins / Ivy Gourd Garlic Fry), Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal), SheetHa (Rice) and Roasted Urad Dal Papad (Store bought)" ... Tummy Full Jevana (Lunch) ... Yumz ... Enjoy ..... 

** Once a again a typical Amchi dishes Thali and I won’t run into details of the same, but straight away add on the recipe links to the individual dishes in the Thali as is my usual pattern. Please do go through the links for the particular dish you want to try out. Again this is a thali pattern for you to follow when you have guests for food at home. This one is a traditional dish pattern that is sure to be loved by your family and friends if they love Konkani food. Do try out the same and enjoy with your family and friends.

4. “Dalitoy (Spiced Tuvar Dal)" …. A delicious Konkani Saraswat Dal that tastes well with rice. A must during every meal in our community, we simply love our dal with rice.

5. “Cooking Rice Starch Free / Vanu ghalnu SheetHa” … Rice cooked and the water is drained off to remove excess starch. The rice remains well cooked without sticking to each other … Do try this formula / method of cooking as it is very healthy.
