Radish Tawa Fry / Moolangi Podi.











Peel the outer skin of one large sized moolangi / radish. Cut horizontally into 4-5 inch piece length and then vertically into 3-4 pieces. You will get equal rectangular shaped pieces which are easier to tawa fry.


Apply some chilly powder, salt and hing to the same and rub over the masala well to all the pieces. Cover and keep it in the fridge for some time.


Heat a tawa to smoking point, lower the heat, apply oil all over. Roll over the radish pieces on a mixture of fine rava and rice powder in the ratio 1:1. Keep it on the tava, sprinkle some oil all over and fry on medium heat till done. Serve hot as an accompaniment with any dish.
